Stephen Colletti attended San Francisco State University for a year before transferring to Loyola Marymount University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in communication and television production in 2008. While in college, he was involved in the university's theatre program and served as a staff member for the student-run television station, ROAR Network. Colletti also played on the basketball team and was a member of the school's Sigma Chi fraternity.
